BE IT RESOLVED that the State Bar of Texas shall not impose mandatory pro bono publico service requirements on its members, and shall vigorously and affirmatively oppose any effort by any person or agency to impose mandatory pro bono publico service requirements on its members and shall not cooperate with or lend its agency or resources to any person or agency seeking to impose mandatory pro bono publico service requirements on its members.

FURTHER RESOLVED that the GP Solo Council and the Delegate of the Council to the Resolutions Committee of the State Bar of Texas shall have the discretion and authority to accept amendments and/or changes to the wording of this resolution so long as consistent with the original intent.
